Her birth date was March 29 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her given title is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican-American by heritage but has American nation by birth. At a very young age her drive to become involved in sports was evident. Gerina played golf in her first game at the age of fifteen. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. She won at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament in her high school years. She was a volleyball player and was also a participant in state tournaments. The year 2003 was the time she began her studies at the University of Texas. As a senior, she was a winner in each tournament in which she played in. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
