Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first to achieve a perfect 10 during an Olympic celebration. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi later the Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was only six years old. Comaneci competed for the first time in the 1969 national junior championships. She finished 13th. In the following year, she became champion. Her first ever international event in 1972 she won the event having won three golds. In 1975, she won 4 gold and 1 silver in her first senior competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. In 1976, she took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and was the first female ever to remove the parallel bars with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey into the realm of entertainment began as a teenager. With her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined the traveling entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol ventured into the entertainment business as a teenager. Her career began with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling spectacle of entertainment. These shows were ice skating events which included stage performances.
