Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a lovely fiance called JP as well as hapless father Henry. Many people are familiar with me via my Instagram platform, @annephung. I post my daily life: the highs the lows and everything between. My parents accompanied me into America in the year 1990, at which point I was just a year old. I would not be able to share my story to you now if my parents didn't work to the max and sacrifice. As a child, I knew that I could have a shot for a better life, I aimed to be their proudest and had a clear vision for the success. I believed my life would be a certain way: graduate from college, get an executive position, be married, and then start a family. While I believed this was the ideal definition of success, life had different strategies. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was something I dreaded. The status and wealth were not what I needed to feel happy. I thought I wasted my existence to get a pay check. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with other people led me to find my new calling as a personal trainer. I began my business in 2014. I am celebrating my seven-year birthday this year. In the field of coaching there is a lack of Asian females. In the coaching industry I would like to be a positive influence by offering high-quality coaching to assist others in becoming healthier and happier. In addition, I wish for everyone to be able to pursue their goals and accomplish whatever they want throughout their lives. When my professional career began to take off, I had the most devastating loss of my life: my mother's loss of life. To be in Heaven she now rests following an eight-year fight against the disease known as Scleroderma. Yet, I keep my Mom with me and dream of her every day. It is true that life has a way with giving us exactly what we need even when we're unable to comprehend the lesson in the moment. It was my mother's unexpected death that shaped me forever. It was a true blessing. I was given a second chance to live my the next stage of my life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed. She had her chance to embark on a new journey as I was given my second shot at living a happy and fulfilling life. In my 30's, I feel more alive than I ever have. It is true that I am living my life now, and not just surviving just like I did before. As I share the story of my journey, it's to ensure that other people will be able to understand my feelings and thoughts. It is to know that they are not alone. It is also a sign of real love. Therapy is necessary and not abnormal. Finally that health is your biggest wealth. My hope is that you live life to your best and never have regrets when it comes to your final days. Death is our only guarantee in life.
