Katherine Heigl has opened up about being raised within "a White bubble." She also explains how that realization has affected the way she raises adoptees who are multi-racial. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about her skin tone, until she came across her adopted sister who was from South Korea. Meg was asked if the way she was treated differed while they were together with their parents and then the time they were on their own. Meg replied: "Oh, sure, I've seen everything and I've been there all the time! Heigl revealed to Parents that this made her realize how naive she had been. She confessed that she was frustrated and felt that she had to channel this anger to assist her daughters. Heigl has a son of four years and Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They adopted their daughter Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old and Black, in 2012.
