Jenna Fischer's most recognizable part is as Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. The actress won the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by an ensemble comedy.
Jenna was born and raised on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna watched as her mother Anne took part in plays at church. Her love for performance and theater was instilled as a little girl.
She is a trained actress who returned to theater after The Office. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. Then she starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.
In the month of October, Fischer and The Office actor and friend Angela Kinsey launched a podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. The podcast has since become wildly popular, landing within the Top Ten globally every week and registering more than 200 million downloads in the first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in the month of January in 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends The Office. This memoir is about the relationship between them and how they worked on The Office.
