Alisha was born in Florida on July 14, 1989. Her first acting gig took place in 2008 when she starred in the film Murder on Her Mind. The decade of 2010 saw she pursued full-time acting and made her acting debut with Just Before I go (2014). She also made one-episode parts on TV shows Criminal Minds and Married. She was raised in Dallas, Texas with her siblings and parents. Holland Roden went to Hockaday School. It was a school for girls only. Her family comes born into a medical family, in which her family members are involved with UCLA women's studies as well as molecular biology. Holland Roden was a pre-med student for a few years in the hopes of becoming the cardiothoracic surgeon. Then she decided to try acting. She then continued to play one-time episodes in diverse shows, including Major Crimes (Switched at Birth) as well as Switched at Birth. Then, in the two seasons of General Hospital she played Nurse Kelsey. Maia Roberts was her first TV appearance. She played Maia Roberts from 2017 through 2019. In the following year, she was a guest star in the Netflix show Raising Dion. The show she's starring in is Palmer along with Justin Timberlake.
