Katherine Heigl has opened her mind about being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how that realisation has impacted how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. Katherine Heigl, the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress revealed in an interview recently that -- when it came to skin color -- she didn't care the way she looked however, after speaking with her older sister whom she adopted by South Korea, she realized that society was different when it came to both of both. "I inquired of Meg how she was that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than those who went out on her own. She responded "Oh yes! All the time!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She confessed that she was angry, but she felt that she had to channel this anger to help her daughters. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4. married for 13 years. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in 2012.
