Katherine Heigl speaks with the world regarding her "white bubble life" and how it has influenced how she raises her multiracial adopted children. The actress from "Firefly Lane" spoke to an interviewer that it was not important what color her skin was to her. After meeting her Korean-American adopted sister, she realised the distinction between how others took care of her. "I inquired of my sister, Meg whether she'd received the same treatment when she was going out with us parents and a different way when she went out alone without them. Meg replied: "Oh, sure, I've seen the whole thing I've seen it all! Heigl told parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." The singer became angry by the incident, and decided to make use of her anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl is with Josh Kelley for 13 years and has a son named Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They adopted their daughter Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide, 8 who is Black, in 2012.
